Franchise Program

The VirtualSC Franchise Program offers districts a turn-key online learning solution tailored to your district's needs.

The Franchise Program allows you to expand your online course curriculum to address the unique challenges of your district using your own teachers.  VirtualSC will provide the technology, curriculum, and training to help start your own program.

VirtualSC will provide the following:

  1. Provide a franchise manager assigned to support the customer’s district
  2. Provide access to Learning Management System (LMS) platform (Moodle)
  3. Provide systems training during the school year for franchises, inclusive of SIS, LMS, Blackboard Collaborate, and other systems utilized for student instruction
  4. Provide hosting and setup of VirtualSC courses on LMS platform
  5. Provide course materials to students (digital textbooks and other instructional materials)
  6. Provide course updates
  7. Provide access to the VirtualSC Student Information System
  8. Provide student survey results
  9. Provide Instructor Training for all new course releases
  10. Provide a mid-point and year-end evaluation of the program
  11. Provide annual accountability report to SCDE
  12. Provide Franchise Leadership Training to one franchise manager per year (Assistance with setting up and managing an online program)
  13. Provide syllabus documents for AP courses for use in AP audit process
