Teacher/Lab Facilitator Training
Welcome to Teacher/Lab Facilitator Training for the Keyboarding Pilot for the State Department of Education through VirtualSC.
Your district administrator for this project will provide you with the district URL to access the online Typing Master program. You will also receive your account information including your username and password from the district administrator. Check with your principal if you do not know the district administrator for this project.
Your student rosters are pre-loaded with your classroom populated. If you have an additional student join your class, simply add them to your users following the directions listed below. Check with your district administrator if you have any problems addings students to your class.
Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3. Let's get going.
- Check your pre-loaded student rosters for accuracy. If necessary, add any new student(s) to your class. Click here to see a short video on how to add a new student to your classroom.
- Check your course and course settings for grade appropriate pace and speed. Click here to see recommended courses and course settings by grade level: 3-4; 5-6.
- Have students login and begin the course. It is recommended that you create a shortcut on the desktop to your district URL for Typing Master.
